A book found while searching for something else, it rapidly caught my attention and I didn't let it go before it was finished the following day, which is always a good sign. The pace of the action, the action itself, the settings and the characters was all I needed for a great entertainment. The end of the book found me wanting for more. A clear recommendation.
Book FOUR:
I cannot help but admire L.A. for creating such amazing books. Once you start reading, you can never stop! It’s almost addiction! And I would never go to the rehab if it’s The Silurian I’m addicted to! For me, reading The Silurian isn’t reading anymore, it is ‘Witnessing’ already. Once you start, Bedwyr gets out of the book and attaches himself to the reader, and through him, you can see, hear, feel and experience everything that is happening in the world of The Silurian.
Book FIVE:
“From the moment the carnynx sounded my heart stopped! I was even more 'present' than before, the pain and the glory all mixed up. Tears for Duran, only Afalon consoles me. I constantly see everything, like a film. As you can see I ADORE this book, all the books, even though there is so much pain with all the love and vision. Saint Aherin, Christian to the last - driven insane by guilt about his own being. Bedwyr's depression - and at last back to the Clan Bear.
With all the entertainments and distractions available to people in rich countries, passionate emotions have been blanked out, medicated, or fragmented. The Silurian shows the truth of being really alive, without escape or computerised narcotics.”

The fifth chapter of the series is good, very good, my favorite so far. The suspense is maintened throughout the whole book and the finale where Arthur and his army appears is perfect. Another sample of life lived fast and true that keeps you wanting for more.
Brilliant! The Silurian keeps getting better. Again, the intensity of emotions in this book can dig deep into the readers. You'll find yourself gasping and breathing hard. Your heart will keep thrashing while reading all throughout the book! You'll have to prepare yourself, especially your heart before reading this book, for you will feel every bit of pain, grief, anger, yearning and suffering that the Fox would experience. You'll truly be at one with Bedwyr. It left confusions in my mind which kept me reading and eager to find out more. I found myself gulping with the revelations and the turn of events! L.A.’s works are so amazing!
Book SIX:
I have been with The Fox and The Bear for a long while now. I have been with them with every joy, battle and suffering that they have faced, but this one truly crushed my heart. I am very grateful that I do not have a weak heart, for this book or this series cannot be taken for granted when it comes to realism, vividness and emotional strength. This book can change your understanding of love and at the same time death. You could feel the fear, hurting or even yearning for death. Though through all the pain, agony and suffering, you could feel love, holding you back from death’s grip. You can even feel that you are not in front of the book anymore but inside it. You can see a new beginning of great things in this book. You’ll wonder how Bedwyr will survive and fight to conquer and overcome his great loss and here, you’ll witness a big turning point of the Fox and the Bear’s love story. I keep wanting for more of The Silurian. This Book is truly remarkable!
"Emotional Strength"
"I know I keep repeating this, but I am amazed by L.A.’s emotional strength. This is all so deep and true. But in the Silurian it is life in the round, everything gone through as it happens. When there is love it is so true, so the physical expression arises naturally, and is, for once, in these books, truly erotic. This book was extraordinary. Although it was full of loss, it was also filled with love. Intense is putting it mildly. Such passion. Bedwyr was enfolded in love, in spite of the terrible continuous nightmare. L.A. every moment is so true.
Thank you L.A. An inspiration.”

As entertaining as the preceding books of the series, L.A. Wilson delivers another powerful tale of the life of Arthur and Bedwyr. Both characters are pushed to their limits in their own ways and the narration keeps you locked to your reading. Another clear recommendation.
Book SEVEN:
"Wild Beauty"
“Oh Bedwyr! The more of his true nature that is revealed the more I love him! I like the caution about containing myths at the beginning of the book. And then - a smith! These encounters are so passionate - once more, so much love. And who could not love Bedwyr for disobeying Arthur's orders and fighting? What else could have happened? And the pain of the separation. I could see them both, and feel the atmosphere as Arthur told him to leave. I am lingering on the scenes with Amren - here is true sweetness -in the deepest most meaningful sense.
I feel as if I have been living Bedwyr's life with him. At this stage I can look back on all the pain, love and moments of sweetness, and return to read about them again. And the return to the intensity of the relationship with the Bear. The return to the Clan, that first night, such wild beauty. And Sawyer. So painful and full of love. It so cruel to condemn people because of how and who they love. This hurts throughout the Silurian. The last scenes with Arthur are just - well - in words, but live far beyond words. In another place. In the stars that are suns.
Just keep going L.A.. The Silurian exists far outside the realm of publishing and agents. I love it.”

Wow! This just keeps getting better and better. Bedwyr recovers beautifully, Arthur shines so much, Longhand is punished and the church gets a little of its own medecine. And now the final confrontation with Colgrin is coming and I cant wait to see what L.A. Wilson will make of it.
Totally Amazing… As I always say, L.A. captures the hearts and minds of the readers. L.A. never fails to create such outstanding books. I really wouldn’t be surprised if I made it to the 7th book for The Silurian truly is one of the best books I've ever known. It leaves you hungry for more. I am trapped in the world of The Silurian and I know that I won’t be able to get out unless I would finish The Journey with Bedwyr and Arthur. There’s so much that I have ‘experienced’ and ‘witnessed’ with Bedwyr and Arthur that it made me feel like I already live in a different world, That I have lived in the past with them. The Silurian is a masterpiece. A great work of art. A jewel.
Book EIGHT:
The final book of the Silurian series is as good as all its predecessors but it leaves me with a feeling of unfinished business. I would so much like to know how Arthur will do on the continent and how Bedwyr will cope with is life. More, I want more; which is certainly a good thing. A magnificent series.
You cannot end your Silurian series here. You have so much more story to tell. Please say you're working on the next book: #9! This is the most original Arthurian retelling I've read in a very long time, and I've read and researched it for my own version.
This book served as a portal to the greatest battle the Clan bear. I found myself in the middle of a battle instead of my room. In facing the bear, death will surely grip your heart for a lot will be lost here, and you could feel the suffering of the fox and the bear, even the clan bear. I can feel fear, fear of the fact that the end is near. I can feel hesitation to continue for I don't want this journey to end. Fear of death. Fear of how things will turn out now. For once you start reading The Silurian, everything within its realm will surely be a part of you, and you a part of it.
Book NINE:
In this book, you could feel the nearing end. You could feel death, gripping you while you read. The journey is almost over, you’ll want to keep on reading but hesitate to read on at the same time for one side tells you that you want more of the Silurian but the other side tells you to stop because you don’t want to end the journey with the fox and the bear. This book will prepare you for the coming death. A death that would rip your heart out. The journey I’ve been through with Bedwyr and Arthur was truly exceptional. The best I’ve ever had. Priceless! The Silurian Series truly is one of the best ever created!
