I was recently asked by a reader if I could provide a character list for Bedwyr’s story.
HERE it is, though a warning, it does contain a few minor spoilers, so for those who do not wish to know of future characters, beware…

Madam Imperia, matriarch of the White-tooth Dynasty of the Hounds, mother of Cadwallon and Owen, infatuated with Bedwyr, and becomes his ally.

Meirchion Gul, King of the Raven Clan from Manau Gododdin, Men of the old North, distant cousin-clan of the Caws, though against the Caws. New king of Rheged. (The Manau Ravens were the ones in book two who helped Arthur and Medraut in their hunt for Cynan Aurelius, and thought that Arthur was a ‘milk boy’ from Rome, and they made him play Black Raven all night long. Bedwyr had nothing to do with these men, so they are unknown to him until now).
Prince Cynfarch Oer, son of Meirchion Gul, marries Arthur's younger half sister, Anna, daughter of Uthyr Pendragon.
Maelgwn Gwynedd, son of Cadwallon Llawhir, famous historical personage, now King of Gwynedd. Causes a nasty upset for the Fox in book TEN, THE SONS OF AVALON, yet to be written.
Gwgawn Red-Sword, Silurian Bear, new warrior for Arthur.

I was asked by another reader what happened to Creoda after he was taken prisoner by Arthur. Arthur freed Creoda to go home to his father, Cerdig, only Arthur branded Creoda’s face and chest and above his genitals with the letter ‘A’, as Arthur was wont to do to his enemies that he did not kill.
